What are the dates and times a SCT transfer can be carried out?

Transfers may be entered with the date corresponding to the entry date or the following date, depending on the type and time of entry:

  • Internal credit transfers, i.e. transfers credited to the same institution as the ordering account, may have the same execution date as the entry date, regardless of the time of day.
  • Transfers to another institution, if entered after 16:30 CET/CEST (cut-off time), must report a date subsequent to the entry date.

The Check SCT Execution Date endpoint can be used to verify the accuracy of the entered date and/or time. To obtain the list of valid dates, the SCT Valid Execution Date List endpoint can be used. The details of these APIs are available on the Cash Account Utils API page.
