Who is Fabrick’s Financial Split Payments service designed for?

The Financial Split Payments service is designed for non-consumer entities that need to collect funds on their own behalf and manage their distribution to multiple beneficiaries.

It can be used both by independent merchants and by merchants operating within platforms managed by an aggregator, such as a marketplace or a digital services portal.

The operational model of Fabrick’s Financial Split Payments service involves three main parties:

  1. Merchant
The entity that subscribes to the Financial Split Payments service with Fabrick. The merchant sells goods or services – either directly or through third-party platforms – and is therefore the owner of the funds to be collected. The merchant also defines the allocation rules for splitting incoming payments among the various Beneficiaries: find out more about collection splitting rules in the dedicated FAQ.
The subscription process requires standard Know Your Customer (KYC) verification procedures in compliance with applicable regulations.
  2. Beneficiaries
These are the parties involved in the sales process who receive funds from Fabrick on the merchant’s instruction, according to the allocation rules set by the merchant. They do not hold a direct contractual relationship with Fabrick: payouts are made transparently, traceably, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
  3. Aggregator
If the merchant operates through an aggregator – such as a marketplace or a digital services platform – the aggregator also becomes part of the operational model. While the aggregator does not directly subscribe to the Financial Split Payments service, it can integrate Fabrick’s technological solutions into its own systems and coordinate the onboarding of individual merchants, ensuring a unified management of incoming payments and subsequent distributions.
