Payment event status

There are several event-related statuses for payments from their beginning to them being finalised:

  • Authorised
The payment was sent to the issuer ,that responded to the request and authorized it. In this state, the sum is bound on the buyer's payment method but not yet moved in favor of the merchant. This status is also displayed if the payment was partially captured.
  • Captured
After the payment was authorized, a request was made by the merchant to move the sum from the buyer's payment method to their current account. The capture can be contextual to the authorization or deferred, up to 25 days later. This status is also displayed in the case of partial capture.
  • Refunded
The payment has been fully refunded, as requested by the merchant.
  • Cancelled
A payment that was only authorized and not captured was canceled by the merchant.
  • Failed
A payment authorization was requested but the operation was unsuccessful. By clicking on the “i” to the right of the status you can find out more about why it happened.
