Two-Factor Authentication on refunds in Dashboard

During a single or multiple refund operation, when clicking on “Refund”, a security authentication may be requested.

This authentication must be performed using the following factors:

1. One Time Password (OTP) code:

Code sent via SMS to the telephone number provided in the Fabrick Dashboard profile of the user performing the refund.

  • The OTP code will be valid for 5 minutes. Should it expire, click on 'Send again' to receive a new code.
  • Attempts to enter the OTP code are limited to 4. Should this threshold be exceeded, the operation will be cancelled and the refund will have to be restarted.
  • If you do not receive the SMS with the OTP code, wait a few minutes and click on 'Send again'.  If the problem persists, please contact technical support.

2. Login Password:

The login password to the Fabrick Dashboard of the user performing the refund.

  • Attempts to enter the OTP code are limited to 6. Should this threshold be exceeded, the operation will be cancelled and the user will be disabled from making any refund requests for 30 minutes.

When will SCA be requested during a refund?

The two-factor authentication procedure may be required in case of single and multiple refunds exceeding the regulatory risk thresholds.

Refund operation that do not fall into this category will follow the normal procedure.
