Q8

Kuwait Petroleum Italia is a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum International, a company responsible for the refining and distribution of petroleum products outside Kuwait. The Q8 brand, launched on the Italian market in 1986, operates mainly in the fuel distribution market, with over 3,000 service stations in Italy.

The solution

The integration of Open Finance services enhances the mobile payment experience offered by Q8, simplifying the customer journey and strengthening the relationship with their customers. The Fabrick solution allows companies to accept payments via SEPA transfers, both standard and instant, and to easily integrate them into their collection applications or Ecommerce websites.

Results

Q8 offers a new way of topping up digital wallets to their retail customers and also business customers in the future. Fuel payments are made by direct debit from a bank account, in order to widen the target audience to those who do not have a credit card or who do not want to drain their credit limit.

In fact, payment represents a distinctive factor for Q8 which, with the introduction of this new feature, enriches the experience at the petrol station, responding to the needs of increasingly sophisticated consumers.

"[...] Q8 has managed to reap the benefits of innovation to enrich and enhance the customer experience, demonstrating openness and attention to their customers. We are thrilled that they chose Fabrick, as this partnership fully embodies our philosophy of openness and collaboration to bring the benefits of the technological and financial revolution to the general public."
